Hello guys. I am back. This week has been passing too slowly. I think its because of Physical Training in our schedule that makes it so long. The lectures in general is getting tougher each day. The week started off with endurance training on Monday. Tough but still able to endure. I got to thank Quebec for their PT, if not i will give up very easily. Handcuff lesson where u will be handcuffing your friend and bring him down. Quite interesting.Route March on Tuesday was ok. Although its tiring, its manageable as its only 4km. However, I felt really affected by the fact that we need to sing throughout the whole march. I dun do that in BMT. Well at least have a pause. Sigh. Suck thumb. The rest of the days are lessons after lessons. The lessons are really hard to understand. I fought many times with the Z monster. I dare say i lost a few times. Military Law test this coming week. In addition, IPPT, drills and route march is on this week. I predicted that it will be damn tiring. Need more rest!Met up with Kenny for dinner after book out. Yesterday, went to Audio House IT and Electronic Fair at Expo. Bought a mp4 player which cost only $45. China brand but not bad. Next, bought a camera for Fujifilm at $159! Very good functions available! Met up with cousin and visit aunt's house. Met up with Marcus and Varun at night for movie. They bought tix for 'The Carzzies", which is like a BIG NO NO movie for me. Hence we asked if we could change. Luckily we change it to THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE. Its really a nice movie to watch. Best movie for the year, I think. Yeah. Feel so sian now. Booking in tonight. Well must be positive as others are leading life worse than me. Time flies. Anyway, take care guys!Labels: Long week

Hello, back to blog a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Came back from Mini Platoon 3 gathering at Astons. Very nice indeed. Yeah, shall start my view on my new vocation, which is being an MP.MP Command, saw this on my screen when i logged on to my posting page. Was quite disappointed at my first sight as I didn't get into the vocation i most wanted, which is SAF BAND. Well, a few minutes later, I felt ok as MP is another vocation that I wanted to go in. Hence, I was quite satisfied overall. Subsequently, I know that Nicholas and David got into MP and many other platoon 3, I felt even better. No worries at all. However at Sunday night, I suddenly went emotional. The happenings in Taiwan and the fun in platoon 3 were the things in my mind then. I miss these 2 things a lot at that instance. But i know i will have to report to camp on the next day and that regimentation begins once again. I dun want to and I really dun feel like going. I felt like i am trapped once again. Depressed till i doze off.Went with an open heart to camp. Saw lots of Quebec members there. And me and Nicholas are in the same section. So damn lucky. A brief intro into MP basic course by MAJ. Next up the presentation of the berserk. Haha. After lunch, lecture by those regulars till dinner. RO at 10pm. Tuesday, had an orientation run around the camp for quite some time. I felt my stamina has dropped slightly, hence need to train more. However, the subsequent days were ALL lectures. OMG. I felt like a slacker. Lesson after lesson. Life is real good here. So contented to be in MP.I have learnt a lot of new laws and how to deal with situation more readily. And from what i know, MP has quite a lot of power in the military force. Haha. Bunk mates wise, they are ok. Not sure about the rest of other days. Haha. But should be ok.This course is only 9 weeks but there are still tough times in MP. 4km route march is seriously very waste of time as we are not infantry. The reason they gave was to keep up the stamina on route march. Next, moonlight marshall, which we wouldn't be sleeping but to complete 3 task within that night. ATP and Pistol shoots are coming up in weeks time. Haha. No more SOC! Woohoo!Yeah, basically, my course is 60% on lectures and the rest were those abovementioned. Haha. Not sure which unit in MP will I be posted to. Hope its those manageable ones. PRIDE, DISCIPLINE, HONOUR! This is our motto and I think it suits very well. We need to be discipline, a lot more and i am trying to. No movement in the file! Once moved, knock it down. Haha. Well, I hope i wouldn't kena tekan by the sgts. Haha. Will try to be good in everything i do in MP as its really a privilege to be in here. I will lean a lot of things and I love it. This course reminds me of JC life. Haha.Ok, gtg prepare myself. Going clubbing later to celebrate Jas's birthday! Haha. I will enjoy =) Take care guys.Labels: Discipline, Honour, Pride

Yo, back to blog again. Will be resting at 9 plus for a new unit tmr. Seriously I miss BMT now. How i wish we can book in again with my platoon mates again. But i know that will never happen.
Well, I am contented enough to take the plunge to go for a trip during our block leave. Taiwan is the place where we have decided to go.
On the very day where we were taking off, Meng Guan was late. We were all saying that he will be a bad tour guide as he can't even be punctual. LOL.
This is the first time i am taking SQ flight and i am pretty excited. Overall, i would say its really good service and i enjoy the flight a lot! Once we have reached, were sent to our hotel.
Chop chop, we went to SHI LIN NIGHT MARKET for our dinner. We were famished by then as the time is about 8 plus when we were at the market. Meng Guan did a good job in directing us in the MRT.
Back to Xi Men where we stay, we experienced an epic sight. All illegal stall holders run as fast as they could when they saw 1 policeman. LOL! It shocked the 7 of us. LOL till hotel. Gathering in the hotel for food is very fun! I like the feeling where we gather and talk everything under the roof! =)
Long San Shi is next and shopping at Xin Guang San Yue the next morning. Before evening, went Taipei 101. Scene was awesome man! =) Karaoke at 10.30pm after a walk at Taipei underpass shopping, which is like nothing much to see. LOL! Karaoke was real good and cheap! =)
Third morning was the worst. Meng Guan brought us to this mall that sells expensive stuff. We were all disappointed after travelling so far. Quite intense atmosphere between us then. Went str8 to the famous Wu Fen Pu for our shopping. Shopped the whole day.
Hmm, i had a very bad experience there. I was lost there. Literally lost! I was purchasing my shirt and they all went to the shops without notifying me. I walked down the shops but couldn't see anyone. OMG! I was panic and worried. Sense of insecurity makes my day down man! Eventually saw them while walking back the shop where i purchase the shirt. Without intention, i so-called tell them off as they left me behind. I pissed David as I looked at him most of the time, as though its all his fault. Man, mixed feeling made my day very bad from then.
As time passes and some cool down, felt so much better and we went to SHI DA NIGHT MARKET. Walked around as usual!
I could feel that Meng Guan is a little piss with us as we are not apprciative of his effort in planning the itinerary. Maybe we felt its a waste of time when we went to places that is not our interest. I know he didn't know it turned out like that, hence i regret making noise there. Sorry Meng Guan! I really appreciate your effort!
Next day, the whole day was for Theme Park, LeoFoo Village. I pushed my limits and took the scariest ride in my life. It was really fun man! At night, went to Shi Da again for another round of shopping. Back to Xi Men for food and Carrefour at 0100. Slept at 3plus.
ZONG ZHEN Memorial Hall was my last stop on Thurs morning. Ate Ding Tai Feng for lunch and then back to Xi Men for any last minute purchases. Oh god its so fast!
Yeah and thats the end of my Taiwan trip. I would say this trip is a trip for relaxation. In addition, it gave me the opportunity for me to experience how is it like to go on a holiday with friends. I have learnt lots of things during this trip, which is to be more patient and more understanding in various situation. If given another opportunity, i would definitely want to travel with this bunch of people again.(I am missing it now)- Pictures are all in facebook. =)
At current state, I am feeling sad. My heart is down. I think its because the fantastic Taiwan trip brings my mood to the max but its going to be down tmr onwards. The regimentation again tmr onwards. But luckily I got a slightly luckier vocation!
Gone emo after writing so much as I miss all activities in Taiwan! Miss it LOTS! Hope MP for the rest of the 2 years will turn out well! (Cross fingers)
PS: Thanks for all the fun Meng Guan, Kah Wang, Hong Hock, David, Nicholas and Teck Soon!Labels: I love Taiwan

Hey am back from Taiwan. This post will be a short post to wrap up my experience in BMTC. I know this will be the last time to book in to Pulau Tekong. Kinda sad.
I remember going in to Pulau Tekong with an anxious feeling like many how many others do. The initial stage of the training is seriously tough for me. I am not use to the momentum and the level of toughness of the physical training. Its pretty bad then.
However, weeks have passed by and I am slowly adapting to the regimentation. However, there are memorable days when I feel extremely shag and tired. Like a day in week 5, where we have run after a 4km route march and swim after the run. Back from Ladang, we had a quick lunch and sat under the scorching sun for 1 hour to listen to CDS talking. Thats not all, strength training after the talk. That day, I almost died! LOL!
PTP phase is actually better as admin time given is reasonable. When we stepped into BMT phase, we seriously have lesser admin time as lots of military stuffs have to be completed. Range was seriously a long long day and we came back at 2am and woke up at 5.30am. WTF! Haha
Next, fieldcamp was the worst 6 days ever. WORST! Mud, dirty, smelly, sticky, tiring and so many unpleasant words that can be used. Seriously a bad dream!
Grenade and SIT TEST was next. Time pass really quickly after SIT test. Its quite relax after that with little PT. 16m route march was bad as I am not use to the distance. Sigh.
Games Day was a memorable day for me as i performed at my best for cheerleading. We seriously did our best but emerge a 2nd place though. Sigh.
Last week of BMT was rehearsals after rehearsals. I stood at the first row for the parade and execute my drill at my best. I perspire a lot during the rehearsal, standing for long hours, making sure that our parade is at our best. The rehearsal stopped on Tuesday.
Cleaning up the whole of Quebec in Rocky Hill was a feat. Scrubbing the walls in the showering cubicle is like strength training. However, the satisfaction after cleaning is good!
On the POP day, we woke up at 3.30am to get ready for our 24km route march. We set off at 6am exactly. While passing by the cookhouse, the uncle is waving to us. My eyes were filled with tears and i kept resisting the tears to fall. I dunno why did it happened. To me, I felt that the cookhouse is like a place where i can relax, chat with platoon mates and fill up my empty stomach. I will miss the cookhouse a lot!
The 24km route march was tiring but manageable. I think its better than the 16km route march as we were all singing happily and have a positive mind. After the 24km March, I was so happy. I have finally completed the march.
However, it was raining cats and dogs when we are doing our cooling down exercise. We left our field pack there, taking mess tin and valuables. OMG.
Rain didn't stop till our parade. Hence, wet weather programme was activated! Sigh. All the rehearsals have gone off to the drain!
Quite sad for not able to execute the parade for our parents to see. Well, I am happy enough to POP though. Haha.(Pics at facebook)
Thats all for my BMTC experience. A pleasant one i guess. GOod bye Tekong. Next, Taiwan trip! Woohoo!
